Analyzing the film "the crossing"

 The filmmakers used cinematic language to manipulate viewers reaction in my ways in the film. One way was in the beginning by showing a mans leg shaking and then he suddenly gets dragged away . Another way was how she was standing up on her phone and something slowly came from behind to grab her but as soon as she turned around .Then she starts to get dragged across the floor as she screams and holds on to the wall , then it stops so she  gets up and two people look at her crazy like they didn't see what happened . All of those scene have cinematic language and the filmmakers were making the viewers feel worried and uncomfortable because it was hard to tell what was really happening .The crossing link
